In celebration of the life and accomplishment of the late Nigerian coach and footballer, stephen Keshi, search engine giant Google has honored him with a doodle on its search engine page for Nigerian loggers. this can be coming on Keshi’s 56th birthday.
The late technical consultant of the Nigerian national team on died on the 7th of june, 2016 in benin. Before his death, Keshi captained the super eagles to triumph at the 1994 African nations cup held in Tunisia and he was also a member of the nation team at the 1994 FIFA world cup held in the U.S.A..
Keshi became popular as a coach once he qualifying the Togolese national team for their first and only FIFA world cup appearance in its history back in 2006. In 2011, he took the coaching job of the Nigeria’s Super Eagles where he became one of only two persons, along with Egypt’s Mahmoud El-Gohary, to have won the africa Cup of nations as both a player and a coach in 2013.
Stephen Keshi is famously referred to as the first African coach to successfully qualify two African nations (Nigeria and Togo) to the world Cup Finals. he's the second-most capped Nigerian footballer with sixty caps for the Super eagles. He survived by four kids.
